Feminists vs. Palin

Feminism is, at its purest definition, about equal rights for women. There are several various movements, theories, and philosophies...but I'm talking about the root of feminism. I'm sure all women can agree on that. Being a guy, I have no place to dictate anything about the rights of women. I hold the door open for women and only I want my wife to work because she wants to, not because she HAS to.

Extending from this...lets get POLITICAL!!!

Hey Karen up in Achorage...KISS MY ASS! A woman running for a position dominated by men on the grounds that she is EQUAL is what the Feminist movement is about...right?

Uhm Marina, how are things in Juneau? I wanted to take a second and tell you that I agree with you, Palin is no Hillary. AND THANK GOD! That is all I have to say.

The Paline choice has put a person with leadership experience and skill in the #2 position. Sarah Palin was the CEO of Wasilla, not to mention the CEO of the state of Alaska. Running Wasilla gives her more experience then your "Community Organizer" and running the state of Alaska puts her over the top.

She ran on ethics reform, but is currently under investigation for several charges involving hiring and firing of state officials. As a non-hunter, I'm not big on this side of her...but she doesn't hunt for sport so I'm fine with that. And "VERY, VERY conservative" is not a bad thing. I don't want to have my tax money going to Welfare Babies. I work my arse off for my all my cars, my house, and everything I have. No one GAVE it to me. One move thing, Obama's "International Experience" is based on him living in other countries. WHOOPTY DO!

Palin is the Real Deal

Sarah Palin is the reason I’m voting for the McCain ticket. Until she was announced, I was truly voting McCain as the lesser of 2 evils (Obama being the ultimate evil!).
My wife last night made an incredible comment about her, and I quote, “Isn’t it nice to have a political person that our children can look up to and not some ‘rockstar’ like Odumba?” That almost brought tears to my eyes (no tears because the Liberals say Conservatives lack a heart).

Obama has run nothing! Palin has run a state!

And now the feminists are “ragging” on Palin? Come on, this girl is the real deal. She is what the feminist movement is supposed to be about. A woman that can be a mom and play with the big boys. Palin has gone head to head with the big boys…and WON!
OK, so she gave birth to a Down Syndrome child. Good for her! That is her “choice”, is it not? She had a choice to keep him or to abort him. And she is a mother, so how is she going to manage being a Vice President, too? COME ON! How would Biden be able to manage being a Vice President, and I’ll up the ante, how is Obama going to manage being a father and a President? The fact is that she has been a successful Governor of Alaska with an astonishing 85% approval rating. What was President Clinton’s highest rating? 65%...

And SHAME on Oprah! It is her “choice” to not have Palin on her show…but let’s call it what it is. She has put her name behind Obama and cannot legitimately interview a woman after her backing of Obama.
